Job Title: Deputy Manager – 16+ Supported Living Placement

Job Description:
As a Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality support and care for young adults aged 16 and over in a supported living setting. You will assist the Service Manager in the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring all care is compliant with relevant regulations and meets the needs of the residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor support staff, ensuring they provide excellent care. Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions.
- Care Planning: Assist in developing and reviewing individual care plans, ensuring they are tailored to the specific needs of each resident.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the service complies with all regulatory requirements, including safeguarding, health and safety, and data protection.
- Resident Support: Provide direct support to residents, including personal care, medication administration, and support with daily living activities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain effective communication with families, social workers, and other professionals involved in the residents’ care.
- Administration: Assist with administrative tasks, including record-keeping, budget management, and reporting.
Essential Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a similar setting.
